For "to help counter the declining dollar", you can put in something different depending on who you are sending it to and what you think is their "hot button" My only suggestion is keep it short and sweet like above. KISS (keep is simple or starve)
Curiosity is a great motivator. You don't want to try to educate them on your first contact. The recording call will help do that for you. People are very busy and usually distracted so you don't want to unload a bunch of information on them. That will come later if they wish to get involved. All you are trying to do is get them to listen to the call.
To use an analogy prospecting is like fly fishing. You don't throw the tackle box in the water to catch a fish, you throw out the fly and reel it in i.e. you entice and withdrawn.
If you taught your folks to just do this one little thing of mailing out this script above your group can explode.
If they don't get back to you first, give it a couple of days and follow up with them asking what they thought of the above 2 minute call. If they wish to know more then mail them the following.
